The riddle of the Sphinx was not solved by Oedipus. How is it that the brilliance of the Greek poets, the supposed wealth of geometric, architectural, philosophic, artistic and culture was insufficient to rejuvenate the ancient secrets?
There was much talk of new ideas, new thoughts, new topics, on Mars Hill, the national philosophic forum of the Greeks. They were always looking forward. So much so that they never looked back. They were orphaned from their roots. Lost in the space of time.
